8-9 Dinogenics1 spacesL1Raymond
DinoGenics is a competitive game for two to five players, in which each player attempts to build and run their own successful dinosaur park. Each player is the head of their own corporation with access to their own private island resort. Each season, players assign agents to the mainland to compete over DNA and other limited resources. Once collected, players can build fences, various park facilities and populate their parks with dinosaurs. Parks with the most prestigious dinosaurs will attract the most visitors. But beware; if dinosaurs are neglected or improperly penned, they will attempt to escape and spread havoc through the entire park. Use all the tools at your disposal; DNA splice mutant dinosaurs, exploit the Black Market or just try to run an honest park, the choices are yours. Do you have what it takes to lead your corporation to victory? Check out BGG
8-9 Fallout: The Board Game + New California & Atomic Bonds (co-operative)1 spacesG24Eric
Fallout is a post-nuclear adventure board game for one to four players. Based on the hit video game series by Bethesda Softworks, each Fallout scenario is inspired by a familiar story from the franchise. Survivors begin the game on the edge of an unexplored landscape, uncertain of what awaits them in this unfamiliar world. With just one objective to guide them from the very beginning, each player must explore the hidden map, fight ferocious enemies, and build the skills of their survivor as they attempt to complete challenging quests and balance feuding factions within the game. The Fallout: New California expansion brings new quests, companions, vaults, and items to Fallout: The Board Game, letting you venture out into the wasteland as five new characters. While there, you can wander across twelve new map tiles that expand the scenarios found in the original game or head into sunny New California and visit some of the most memorable locations from throughout the Fallout series. With the Atomic Bonds Cooperative Upgrade Pack for Fallout: The Board Game, the number of scenarios available to you just doubled. This upgrade pack has everything you need to play every competitive scenario from Fallout: The Board Game and the New California expansion as a cooperative scenario. Rather than struggling against each other, Atomic Bonds lets you and your friends travel the Wasteland, grab the best gear, and push your chosen faction to victory?together! Combine that with the addition of modifications, mutations, and workshop upgrades, and Atomic Bonds pushes your games of Fallout to dizzy new heights. Check out BGG Check out BGG Check out BGG

8-9 Keystone: the Dungeons Beneath Tour Toriel3 spacesR3Miriam
On the high plateaus of the roof of the world stands the spire of Tour Toriel, a tower of rock and ancient ruins that predates all of recorded history. Within the fortress that clings to its unassailable slopes reigns the Dread Tyrant, whose power is so great that every kingdom and city in the land has bent to his dominion. One year ago, a terrible purple vortex opened in the sky above the spire. Harvests began to spoil in the fields; unspeakable new monsters spilled out of the wilderness. The wise women, the priesthoods, and the scholars cannot explain what is happening, but all signs are clear as to the source: something in Tour Toriel has gone awry, and will destroy the world if it is not stopped. You are a band of heroes dedicated to finding out what has gone wrong in the spire and stopping it. It is almost certainly a suicide run, but doing nothing is only a slower death. You have discovered a secret entrance to the caves under the mountains upon which the spire rests. Your plan is to delve this dungeon and work your way upwards into the castle. There, by hook or by crook, you will discover the source of this calamity and--hopefully--the means to end it. --- Keystone is a fantasy roleplaying game primed for Cortex that is also a step-by-step tutorial for learning how to play Cortex. The first adventure is free to download and play, and has all the rules you'll need included in the document. Two more adventures are available, and two more are in development.

Local Designer My love-letter to a certain very famous JRPG series; a fast-paced tabletop RPG that borrows some Eurogame ideas. Runs so fast, we should be able to finish a short adventure and even level up your characters, maybe more than once, in a single four-hour session. Be the first people I don't already game with regularly to try it out!

9Helm's Light - A naval strategy board game4 spacesG17Stuart Klassen
Local Designer Helm's Light is a challenging and engaging naval strategy board game that can be played with 1-6 players. Each player takes on the role of a captain with unique abilities, and must use their ships and lighthouse to control the seas and find or steal the most plunder. The game is played in rounds, with each round consisting of three turns where players must make strategic decisions on how many actions to take. The added twist of simultaneous action reveal adds an extra layer of strategy and anticipation, and the game can be played in a variety of ways including player vs player, teams, cooperatively or solo. Helm's Light takes between 60-120 minutes to play, and is moderate in complexity.
9-10 Magic, Myth, and Mystery2 spacesL3Ryan
Local Designer For centuries, humanity fought a secret shadow war against the creatures of darkness and myth, until one day the unthinkable happened. Peace. In exchange for being allowed to freely and openly join human society, the nearly extinct "supernaturals" agreed to follow human laws so long as humanity stopped its incessant messing around with dangerous magics. While certain parties on both sides still have their differences, the great Peace of Raven?against all odds?has largely held. That is, until the Organization of Magic, Myth, and Mystery (OMMM) somehow hired you to help preserve it. You and your "uniquely talented" colleagues work for OMMM, an international NGO dedicated to keeping things nice and friendly between human and supernatural alike. As interns, your duties include stopping rampaging mythological beasts, solving arcane mystical puzzles, confronting illegal sorcery, navigating office politics, and of course managing social media. Magic, Myth, and Mystery is a brand-new locally designed RPG that uses cards rather than dice in order to give players more influence over the trajectory of the story through a simple rules system. Set in a globe-trotting modern fantasy world not unlike our own, players will be able to choose one of six pre-generated characters, some human and some less so, based on legends from around the world as they try to save the world, not kill each other, and also avoid getting fired.
